🚓 Baffins Community Policing Update 🚓

Baffins Officer PC Christian and PCSO Berkov attended a beat surgery at Beeny’s Cafe, Tangier Road this morning to engage with residents, listen to concerns, and offer support. We would like to thank those that came down to chat to us. Don’t worry if you missed us, we are currently looking to arrange an ASB community meeting on the evening of the 2nd October - keep an eye out for the details 👮‍♀️👥

We are aware of ongoing reports regarding nuisance motorcycles in the Great Salterns area and are actively working to address the issue. Patrols have been increased, and we’re liaising with partner agencies and the Roads Policing Team to identify those responsible. Please continue to report any sightings via 101 or the Hampshire Police website. 🏍️⚠️

Investigations are also ongoing in regards to two burglaries at the Co-Op and Spar on Tangier Road, with officers following a number of lines of enquiry to identify those involved. 

In addition, the team has been proactively seeking to locate and arrest a prolific shoplifter impacting businesses across the community. We have a number of leads which we are following up on. 🛍️🔍
